The Story, The Music, and Who We Are...

These guys deliver the perfect blend of alternative, funk and folk for a winter's night. With a sound that's a subtle mix between Kurt Cobain and John Mayer, the VT influenced Alternative Folk-Rock group always has an acoustic in tow and something up their sleeve.

-Brian Theoret-

Guitar/Vocals/Harmonica/Mandolin/Keys/Kitchen Sink

Being the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the group, I grew up in the little town of St. Albans, Vermont with its quiet hills and rolling fields. Alongside my two brothers, I always enjoyed Vermont's beautiful four seasons (Winter, Winter, Winter and Mud Season) and not ever knowing anything else I always found a way to enjoy every one of those degrees below zero when it was 35 below.

Whether it was skiing, sledding on my GT Snow Racer, or making the occassional snowman with the worst snowman making snow possible, I always found something to make me happy and feel like I was at peace. I'd take a swim in the summer "month" to keep cool and wear a 6 inch thick parka in the winter to keep from getting hypothermia (or is that hyperthermia...I can never keep it straight). Such is life in Vermont. I miss you old friend...

I take my homespun and rustic narratives, shake them about, pour them out onto the table and take you on a journey of the trials of my life with my coarse yet sophisticated melodies. Anyone up for a game of Yatzee?

Ever since I picked up my dad's old guitar for the first time, I've always been drawn towards the music of Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, Damien Rice, Martin Sexton...

I love to speak to people through my music and in the end I'm just a man with a guitar, singing for hope, with a pair of blue jeans and Birkenstocks and one part neck tie...an inviting smile inducing dreamer.

-Luke Appleton-Webster-
